Develop Your Own Product to Sell on the Internet

Do you want to be an entrepreneur and sell your product on the Internet?

Many people make the mistake of deciding what they are going to sell without checking first to see if there is a market for it. It would be sad if you created your product and found out that no one wanted or needed it.

You must do your homework first before you create your product or service.

First, what is your passion? What excites you? What are you knowledgeable about?  Whatever it is, this is what you should build your product about. The saying is "Do what you love and the money will follow." Why? Because your enthusiasm is contagious. People will feel it on your website, in newsletters (e-zines) - everywhere you advertise.

Type in your keyword into Overture for example.

The number of sites that come up under your search term in Overture will give you an idea of whether or not there is a demand. If there are many sites, perhaps that demand is filled. If the numbers are low, you have a better chance to sell your product.

You are looking for high demand/low supply keywords from both of these tools.

These tools will also assist you in figuring out your domain name. More about this later.

Corey Rudl owns websites that receive over 4 million visitors yearly, does 5.2 million dollars in sales online each year (yes, that is $5,200,000), and personally makes hundreds of thousands of dollars from his online businesses... all from his one small office.

He has a simple, 4-step formula for Internet success - it goes like this:

1. Find a large, easy targetable market.
2. Find a product or service that market wants.
3. Have a great sales process
4. Back end, back end, back end

See? It is not the product. It's the market first, THEN the product second.

I have learned that each one of us has something to sell - something that people will want - knowledge.

YES, there is room for everyone on the internet. After all, no one else is you. And no one sees the world quite the way that you do. All you need to do is find an existing market, something that you are passionate about, identify a key problem area, solve the problem, sell the solution, and repeat the process. Easy? Yes! Once you have the right mentors to follow."
