You will discover that this is not your usual or ordinary e-commerce website.
I'm Patty, 48 years old and have my masters degree in social work. I've been a social worker for a number of years and became incredibly burned out which is to be expected in such a stressful career.
I began to work at home and built a large website (http://www.mental-health-today.com) where I receive substantial income from it.
Along the way I have learned a great deal of what it takes to build a user friendly website and studied marketing on how to bring traffic. I have been a success.
Somewhere in the middle of maintaining this site which is constantly growing, I needed a break from mental health so I studied e-commerce on the net. I quickly discovered that nobody was giving it out for free so I purchased some material and began my study. I was horrified to find that most e-commerce sites were run by people who did not care about their users or even themselves. They were out to make money and that was the extent of it and they would do anything morally or immorally to get it. It left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
Many of these people appeared to have lost all integrity and their true authentic selves and had in fact forgotten ever having it.
So I decided to build a site with integrity and value. I built this site because I enjoyed it and to make money.
You don't have to be an "internet guru" like some who have made it big on the net. You only need to study how they did it and that is the material they sell. Some are rip off artists and some are genuine.
This site gives away a lot of free information that I could not find when I first went looking. I am giving away the information I learned. Along with that I chose which merchants I really liked and respected and joined their affiliate program and you will see who I have recommended on this website.
Honestly the book that I received most of what I know is called "Make My Site Sell." It tells you how to build a winning website, how to make money on the net, what is selling on the net, getting traffic to your site, you name it, it has it and the cost was very reasonable. Many places on the net charge you well over one hundred dollars for their info and it's not half as extensive as this one.
Ken Evoy is the author and he also wrote "Make Your Price Sell," which is excellent for knowing how to price what you are selling on the net. So I believe he made more money keeping the price low in the long run. He says if you price right you double your net profits.
